Therapy Services

What are Therapy/Treatment Services?

Our therapy/treatment services includes therapy/counselling, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and cognitive rehabilitation. Treatment services are offered by both Dr. Smolewska and our Clinical Social Workers, Registered Psychotherapist, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologist.

 

Currently, Dr. Smolewska is only accepting new treatment referrals for cognitive rehabilitation/strategies using the Goal Management Training™ (GMT) framework. Our Clinical Associates have openings for therapy/counselling and occupational therapy with no wait-list.

 

Our Clinical Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapist offer therapy for a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress management, coping strategies for those who are neurodiverse (e.g., highly sensitive, autistic, ADHD), parent/family support, self-regulation/executive functioning techniques, and more. Our Clinical Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapist see children, teens, adults, and couples.

 

Our Occupational Therapists offer support in numerous areas of daily living across the lifespan, including toileting, eating, self-regulation, sensory support, attention and executive functioning support, fine and gross motor development, social skill improvement, and more. Our Speech-Language Pathologist provides support to children with a variety of communication needs, including phonology/articulation, motor speech disorders, language delays/disorders, augmentative/alternative communication and social communication skills. Our Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologist see infants, toddlers, children, teens, and adults.
