Beverly Ann Hoy

B.A.

Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant for our practice, I support a variety of assessment-related tasks and am committed to helping our clients have a positive and organized experience. I graduated from the University of Guelph, where I focused my studies on abnormal psychology and neuroscience, and I am currently completing my M.A. in School and Applied Child Psychology at Western University.

My long-term goal is to become a Clinical Psychologist, and I am deeply interested in exploring innovative, alternative interventions that promote brain plasticity and enhance overall well-being. My undergraduate thesis examined how early life enrichment can build cognitive reserve and potentially impact the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. For my master’s research, I am investigating the effects of physical activity on hypofrontality in children with ADHD, aiming to better understand how movement can support cognitive and emotional health.

I am passionate about bridging research and practice, and I bring curiosity, empathy, and dedication to my role every day. I look forward to continuing to support our team and clients, while furthering my knowledge and experience in the field of psychology.
